FAQ’s
Do I need a referral from my GP to book my first session?
If you wish to claim a Medicare rebate, a valid Mental Health Care Plan is required. However, if you prefer not to see your GP beforehand, you can still book a session privately—please note that in this case, you won’t be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
Does Zen Society Integrated Psychology provide services for children?
Absolutely! We currently have availability with a Clinical Psychologist who primarily works with children and adolescents.
Is the clinic accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes! Entrances and restrooms are wheelchair-accessible. Contact us in advance if you have any specific needs, so we can make the necessary arrangements to support you.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
As part of our policy at Zen Society Integrated Psychology, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. We understand that this is not always possible and we will aim to work with you on rescheduling to another day where possible.
Does Zen Society Integrated Psychology offer services for NDIS participants?
Absolutely! While we are not a registered provider, we definitely provide services where we will communicate with your service provider.
